Computerway’s Q3 Improves Third-Party Traceability

High Point, N.C. (Jan. 24, 2007) —Computerway’s Q Enteprise Watchdog system has been updated in the latest version Q3 with a focus on improving third-party inventory accuracy and traceability.

Q3 provides cost effective, enterprise-wide solutions for inventory management, order processing and product recall, providing a powerful tool in supply chain management.

The improved version features a status code manager, customer allocation manager, customer product manager, status & allocation code update manager, offsite inventory manager, offsite ASN acknowledgement and offsite shipping acknowledgement.

These additions allow for real-time production, inventory and shipment information for connected R6 sites and cold-storage facilities. Q maintains inventory data at third-party storage facilities by tracking all receipts and shipments. Inventory for off-site facilities not connected to Q is maintained via manual entry of receipts and shipments to and from the facility.
