Computerway Improves Recall & Yield Analysis with Zulu Time

HIGH POINT, N.C. (Oct. 26, 2005) — Computerway Food Systems (CFS) has added Zulu time to all CFS applications improving recall and yield analysis.

Modeled after Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) or “Zulu Time,” Computerway Zulu Time has adopted principals similar to those used in dividing the world into time zones.

“Just as GMT or Zulu Time was created when communication and travel became more global, we created Computerway Zulu Time to ensure that any event, process or incident across any CFS application can be recorded, cross-referenced and used in recall and yield analysis situations,” said Bill Altenpohl, Computerway Food Systems president.

CFS Zulu Time is highly configurable and offers flexible reporting. With each department operating in its own time zone, locations within Computerway applications are grouped into departments allowing product movements within the department to be cross-referenced for recall and yield purposes. Using a web of traceable footprints provided by Zulu Time, users can expand their traceability and yield analysis capabilities as needed.
