Computerway Zulu Time

Computerway Zulu Time, modeled after Greenwich Mean Time or “Zulu Time”, has adopted principals similar to those used in dividing the world into time zones. Just as GMT or “Z-time” was created when communication and travel became more global, CFS created Computerway Zulu Time when the need arose to track and monitor every aspect of a food processing plant’s operations.

Computerway Zulu Time enables CFS to ensure that any event, process or incident across any CFS application can be recorded, cross-referenced and used in recall and yield analysis situations.

Whether new or existing CFS customers have one or many of the Computerway modules, they can reap the benefits of Zulu Time. The Zulu Time mechanism is encapsulated within all of the Computerway applications. Even if you don’t have yield or traceability tools, Zulu data is still recorded and saved for use later – years later, if necessary.

Highly Configurable
Allowing each department to operate in its own time zone

Locations within Computerway applications are grouped into departments allowing product movements within the department to be cross-referenced for recall and yield purposes.

In addition, time zones spanning a 24-hour period can be defined for each department, providing the ability to narrow recall results to product movements that occur during certain periods throughout the day.

Flexible Reporting
Provides tools for navigating through data results

Utilizing a web of traceable footprints provided by Computerway’s Zulu Time, users can expand their traceability and yield analysis capabilities as their targets and needs develop.
The Zulu recall report provides tools to simplify the process of navigating through endless amounts of product data encountered in true recall situations.
