P-6 Touch Terminal

Computerway Food Systems has introduced the P-6, a multi-purpose HMI (Human-to-Machine Interface) device which can be fully integrated into Computerway and Wolf systems and was specifically designed for industrial applications requiring touch terminals.

The P-6 allows plant personnel to view critical system information on CFS Quality Control, Process Tracking, or Wolf ISS systems. Under password authorization, P-6 users can even perform command functions or enter useful information without the need for expensive computer devices.

The P-6's LCD is housed in an industrial NEMA 4 wash-down-proof enclosure with a clear lexan face panel for maximum protection and utility.

• View, record, or modify "Blox" or lot information
• View, record, or modify machine operation or status
• View, record, or modify line or machine stoppage
• View system alarms or messages in the plant environment
• Collect Quality Control test results

Typical uses for a P-6 in Wolf ISS or Wolf-Flex applications:

• P-6 Maintenance and Calibration Device
  • Individual or multi-scale calibration and adjustment
  • Perform calibration at the scale (no need for two people)
  • Test drops and sensors
  • Connects to Wolf via network cable
  • Mounted in the plant adjacent to the scale station

  • Contains all of the functionality of the Maintenance and Calibration Device (above)
  • Provides production functions similar to that of RF PDA devices
  • Controls drops, selections, and tares
  • Adjust product flow rates at any drop or synched drops
