The Quality Control Cart is part of a Computerway system designed to enable in-plant real-time data collection and transmission of critical quality-related information. The QC Cart may be purchased with or without CFS applications.

Designed for the harsh environment and narrow corridors often found in food processing plants, the QC Cart facilitates the paperless and wireless collection, recording, and communicating of accurate product and equipment test data.

A CFS Quality Control application, available on the on-board tablet PC, enables QC technicians to administer configurable tests that are recorded as they happen. Depending on test criteria and network set-ups, immediate pass/fail alerts can be issued on-screen or on other PC's connected to the plant LAN.

Cart:

The cart measures 40” W x 28” D, and 34” from the floor to the work surface. It is constructed of stainless steel and food-grade UHMW plastic. The cart and its contents are designed for ergonomic use and sanitary handling of food items with simple clean-up and sanitization.

Features of the cart include:  

• On-board four-way-adjustable semi-sealed tablet PC with Windows XP Tablet PC Edition with RF link
• Power conditioning / backup power supply with NEMA 4 enclosure onboard.
• Digital electronic "Bluetooth" test scale with serial output to the onboard PC.
  • The scale is easily removed for cleaning or alternate testing operations.
  • Tested for compliance with industry standards for protection from water ingress under IPX9K (pressure washing), NEMA 4 (hosedown), NEMA 6 (water immersion), IPX7 (water immersion), and IPX8 (water immersion simulating water pressure of 80-feet deep).
  • Satisfied tests for dust resistance under IP6.
• Storage areas for products pre- and post-testing with 3 sampling tubs.
• Stainless Steel Tube frame with USDA approved UHMW top. Full-motion caster wheels provide easy maneuverability into “tight” workspaces and through narrow doorways while maintaining high stability.
