William F. Altenpohl
President
William (Bill) F. Altenpohl launched Computerway Food Systems as Chickway Systems, Inc in 1986. He has been involved in the pork, chicken, turkey and red meat industries since childhood via his father's company, W.F. ALTENPOHL, Inc., where he began work in 1974 as an engineer.
Bill and his wife, Karen, have two beautiful and talented daughters, Mary Beth, 22, and Hannah, 19, who attends the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The family calls High Point, N.C. home. Originally from Gladwyne, PA, Bill is admittedly a bit of a pet magnet, with "too many" pets, including "one Doberman, two Scottish Shelties, one Maine coon cat and one alley cat."
When he's off work, Bill enjoys flying, soccer, cycling, traveling, hiking and "home projects that can be started after 9 am."

Tony Andrews
Service Engineer
As a Service Engineer with Computerway, Tony
Andrews provides service, training and installation
for sizing lines and inventory systems in the food
industry.
Tony and his wife, Kim, live in Greensboro with their
three children Dylan, Ethan, and Samantha. When
Tony isn’t working, he enjoys music, aviation and
spending time with his family. They have two dogs, a Jack Russell named Stormy
and a Hound named Allie.

Ronnie Bevins
Systems Support Manager
Ronnie is responsible for managing all CFS Computer Services, deployment and software Testing.
Originally from Montcalm, WV, Ronnie calls Linwood home today. He began working for Computerway in May 1999 after graduating from High Point University.

Nathan Biggs
System Controls Manager
Nathan is responsible for the development and testing of Computerway's ISS Control systems including the WOLF, WOLF-FLEX and the new COYOTE controls.
Nathan has worked at Computerway since May 2000
after graduating from High Point University. He enjoys golf,
hockey, and guitar.

Shawna Brown
Projects Director
As projects director, Shawna oversees the CFS project management team in the commissioning of Computerway systems. She also assists with sales and marketing activities.
Shawna joined Computerway in May 1999. In her six years at the company, she has held positions in sales and marketing, project management and training.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in I/O Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, both from High Point University.
Shawna and her husband, Jay, live in High Point and have a son, Jacob Scott Brown, born in 2002. Shawna is originally from Watsonville, Ca. She enjoys photography and spending time with her family. Shawna also enjoys her pet, Gretchen, a German
Sheppard.

Harvey Carden
Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control
Harvey began work at the company in March 2006. Working with shipping, receiving and inventory control, he keeps things moving.
He and wife Trudy live in Thomasville, N.C. They have two children: Tim, 37, and Jason, 28. The couple has four grandchildren, four dogs and one cat. Harvey enjoys old cars, drag racing and Champ Car Racing.

Tim Carden
Service Technician
Tim specializes in the installation and trouble-shooting of WOLF, FOX, and Computerway Systems.
Tim began at Computerway in April 2004, and enjoys tinkering with old cars when he is not "on the road."
A lifelong resident of Thomasville, NC, Tim and his wife, Sandra, have two children: Chas, 16, and Corrinna, age eight. The family owns two chows.

Chris Chastain
Accounting Manager
Chris joined Computerway in April 1998 and is responsible for financial reporting, payroll, and all accounting activities.
Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Chris spent some of her childhood in Newfoundland, Canada. She enjoys traveling and has lived in many different places.
Today, Chris and husband Keith live in High Point. They enjoy walking, kickboxing, traveling and going to the movies in their free time.
Chris is a board member in her homeowner association. As a member of Covenant Methodist Church, she serves on several different committees. Chris also visits homebound church members.

Jeff Clark
Mechanical Systems Engineer
Jeff has worked at CFS since January 1999 in various positions including Service Technician and Service Manager. He shifted his skill set into his present engineering position in 2005.

Brent
Clodfelter Training / Projects
Brent has worked at CFS since June 2008 and is
responsible for managing new installation projects,
upgrades, on-site training, and trouble shooting.
Brent lives in High Point, NC and is engaged to be
married in April 2009. His fiancé's name is Brittany.
Brent graduated with an MBA from High Point
University in May, 2008 and played Division I golf
as an undergrad. In his spare time, Brent enjoys
spending time outdoors golfing, hunting, and
fishing, and he also enjoys lifting weights.

Lori DiCola Executive Assistant
Lori has worked at CFS since April 2008 and is
responsible for helping to prepare and send out
quotes, revising the CFS web site, updating
literature/brochures/newsletters, maintaining the
price sheet, making travel arrangements, and
directing incoming calls.
Born in Italy, Lori grew up in Oregon and recently moved to High Point, NC from Sherwood,
OR.
In her spare time, Lori enjoys entertaining her two children, Danielle and David, reading science fiction,
watching movies, and playing with their crazy tuxedo cat, Spatz.

Rodney Everhart
Electronics manager
Rodney began his Computerway career in August 1990 and is responsible for the purchasing, design, development, production and testing of all electronic devices used in various CFS
systems.
Rodney and wife Shirley live in Winston-Salem, although they are originally from Lexington, N.C. They enjoy North Carolina's many outdoor opportunities, including mountain biking, swimming and hiking.
Rodney also does some home improvement and is a member of Midway United Methodist Church. They also enjoy their pet - at least half of the couple does, anyway. Shirley's cat, "Gulliver," seems to feel he "owns the house and I'm a visitor," said Rodney.

David Fleming
Help Desk Officer
As a help desk officer, David provides technical support to customers, assists in testing and development of Computerway products and helps with on-site installations. He first worked with Computerway as an intern, and then came on board full time in May 2001. In his free time, David enjoys playing with his short-haired collie, Molly. He also enjoys video games, movies and cooking.

Steve Gourley
Fabrication Technician
Joining Computerway in March 2006, Steven's primary responsibility as a fabricator is building precision stainless steel equipment as key parts of Computerway systems. He brings 39 years experience to the job.
Currently living in Winston-Salem, he and his wife, Brenda, have two sons: Kenny, 37, and Dwayne, 31, as well as two grandchildren (Shelby, 12, and Dylan, 10).
He enjoys "street rodding and racing" and owns 20 dogs. Originally from Walkertown, N.C., the couple attends Morris Chapel Methodist.

Harper
Help Desk
Randall Harper joined the CFS Help
Desk team in July 2008.
As a Help Desk Technician, Randall tests all new
software packages and patches. He also provides support
for customers with connection and usage issues.

Alan and his wife Sheila currently live in High Point. Their child, Laura, 26, is a tennis pro.

Kurt Hatcher joined the Service Department
of CFS in July 2008.

live there with his wife, Damaris and their two

Mike Isley
Senior Electronic Technician
Mike has worked for CFS in the Electronics department since March 2003 building and testing various electronic and computer hardware elements.
He and his wife Tonya have a little girl, Taylor
Madison. They have three dogs, Daisy, Bo, and Loki, and two horses, Clyde and Dusty. Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, weight lifting and spending time with his family.

Jeff Jackson
Software Development Manager
Jeff is responsible for managing all Computerway software development, maintenance and interoperability with other CFS products.
Jeff and his wife, Sheri Johnson, and children Alex, 14, and Nik, 10, live in Thomasville. Originally from Tampa, Florida, Jeff started at the company in 1993.

Satya Jayadev
Programmer Analyst
Satya specializes in Progress database design and
is an applications analyst.
Originally from southern India, Satya started with the company in Oct. 1999. Satya received his MBA at UNCG in 2004 while working at CFS.
He and spouse Jai Chitra Raghu have a son, Arjun.
In his spare time, Satya loves to play Cricket, as well as golf.

Eduardo Mercado
Service Engineer
Service Engineer Eduardo Mercado began his Computerway career in August 2004. His primary responsibilities include providing service training and installation for sizing lines and inventory systems in the food industry.
Originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, Eduardo and his wife, Melissa, have two children: Christian, eight, and Adrianna, age two. They currently live in Winston-Salem and enjoy bowling.

Jaime joined CFS in June 2007 as the Assistant Bookkeeper.

Laurie Mudri
Help Desk Manager
Laurie started with CFS June 1999, and since then she's gained a great deal of experience and an appreciation of the business. First in a Marketing role, she later moved to Training, then to Project Management and finally to Help Desk
in 2004.
As Help Desk Manager, Laurie coordinates schedules
to ensure the 24/7 coverage of the Help Desk,
maintains maintenance contracts for software and
Help Desk Services, distributes quarterly Help Desk
reports, and answers and processes tickets.

Service and Sales Manager
Billy started work at CFS in 1993 as a service technician. He is now responsible for the operations of the entire service department. Billy utilizes his expertise as a specialized salesman for WOLF and Computerway systems in the Poultry Industry.

Brenda Parrish
Inside Sales, Export Documentation, Repair
Brenda stays busy at Computerway with her inside sales position. She also helps with export documentation and repairs. A native of High Point, N.C., she enjoys hiking at Pilot Mountain particularly with the youth at her church. During the summer, she also helps out with her church’s Bible school.

Electronics
Justin joined the Electronics Division
of CFS in March 2008. He keeps busy building and testing
various electronic and computer devices.
Justin is a graduate of North Carolina Agricultural &
Technical State University with a degree in Electronics
and Computer Technology.
When not working, Justin enjoys playing basketball,
fishing, eating, and spending time with his friends and
family.

Romond
Richmond
Help Desk
Romond joined the Help Desk Division of
CFS in September 2007.
As a Help Desk Technician, he assists customers after
hours through over-the-phone technical support of all
CFS products. When not helping customers, Romond tests
programs in development and performs server maintenance,
among other things.
Originally from Burlington, NC Romond currently
resides in Greensboro, NC.

Doug Simpson
General Manager
In April 1995, Doug came a long way to work at Computerway - from England. Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, to be specific! He joined Computerway after working 12 years with an associate company in England where he put in many years -- first as a globe-trotting service technician and then working up through many managerial and technical roles before coming to the US.
Doug is responsible for the day-to-day management of CFS activities. His technical background is also well-utilized at CFS in overseeing and coordinating product development amongst the various CFS departments.
Doug currently lives in Greensboro, and plays in a local inline hockey league. He also enjoys mountain biking and the great outdoors.
