Computerway Food System’s ZONE machines are purpose-built, automated systems designed to eliminate the labor required for weighing, labeling, scanning and sorting cased production within limited space. CFS ZONE systems combine multiple sequential steps into 3 or more zones of simple operations.  ZONE systems use a constant-speed conveyor with pre-configured zones where specific functions are SIMULTANEOUSLY performed within a pre-set cycle time.  At the end of each cycle, each box moves on to the next position.  

 

ZONE SLC systems consist of: on-deck, weighing, and auto-labeling zones.  The design requires a fraction of the space required by customized solutions while providing more features and flexibility at less cost than traditional, multi-component systems. 

 

ZONE ACS systems may be connected in series following Zone SLC’s, or they may be configured as separate systems.   Zone ACS systems are capable of standard Computerway Palletizing or Move functions when connected with Computerway S9.  Zone ACS systems incorporate built-in rejection zones to eliminate all cases which fail to scan properly.
